Chopin\u2019s\u00a0Prelude No. 4 <\/em><\/a>in E Minor is one of the 24 preludes opus 28 for piano. By Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Chopin<\/a>\u2019s request, this piece was played at his own funeral, along with Mozart\u2019s<\/a> Requiem. According to George Sand’s daughter Solange, who stayed with the composer at the monastery in Majorca when the preludes<\/a> were written, “My mother gave a title to each of Chopin\u2019s wonderful Preludes; these titles have been preserved on a score he gave to us.”<\/em> That titled score is lost. – Khatia Buniatishvili<\/a><\/p>\n
