Sheet Music Treble Clef and Bass Clef HN and Read Music Notes Sing ‘n Learn HN share the same Pedagogy menu and the same Color Music Notes System to make learning a new music note easier.
Happy Note!’s Color Music Notes system
To learn a new note, you can work with two kind of musical lectures:
– In the -a- lectures, the new music note is shown in color, so you can spot it right away
– In the -b- lectures, the new note is shown in black, just like the other music notes
The Pedagogy menu of Sheet Music Treble Clef and Bass Clef HN is designed for those players who use the game as a full-fledged method to learn how to read music. Those players who use Sheet Music Treble Clef and Bass Clef HN as a complement to another method, or simply to fine-tune their music reading skills, can choose freely which note to play with simply by clicking on it at the start of the game.
How to Take Advantage of the Compatibility Between Read Music Notes Sing’n Learn HN and Sheet Music Treble Clef and Bass Clef HN
Open Sheet Music Treble Clef and Bass Clef HN, then select the Pedagogy/3 notes menu. Your screen should then look like this:
The Pedagogy/3 notes option features 3 notes:
– C and G are shown in black. They are the notes you’ve learnt to recognize with the Pedagogy/2 notes menu.
– E , the new note, is flashing : throughout the game, E will remain in color, so you can recognize it more easily.
Go ahead now, and play the game. Explore all the options, until you’ve become thoroughly familiar with the new music note ( E ). Now, switch to Read Music Notes Sing ‘n Learn HN and select the menu Pedagogy/3 notes to display the 3a Reading Music with a color note:
As you can see, the 3a Reading music features the exact same 3 notes (C E G) and the same color note E as the Pedagogy/3 notes menu in Sheet Music Treble Clef and Bass Clef HN.
Go ahead now, and practice the 3a music reading with a color note. When you’re done, go back to Sheet Music Treble Clef and Bass Clef HN and left-click on the color music note (E) to turn it black:
Start a new game. Now, whenever E appears on your screen, it is black just like the other 2 notes. You must now recognize it even though the color isn’t there to help you any more.
Toggle Between the 3a and 3b Music Reading
Go ahead and play until you recognize the E music note right away, even without the color to help you. Then, go back to Read Music Notes Sing ‘n Learn HN and click anywhere on the music notes (or press the Spacebar key on your keyboard) to toggle between the 3a and 3b music reading:
Click on music notes or press your Spacebar key to toggle between -a- and -b- reading music
Once practicing 3b has become easy and routine, you are ready to learn another note. Next time you play with Sheet Music Treble Clef and Bass Clef HN, select the Pedagogy/4 notes menu: the music notes you learnt previously (C, E, G) will appear in black, and the new music note, D, will be in color. In Read Music Note Sing’n Learn HN, select the Pedagogy/4 notes menu to display the 4a reading notes with the same new D music note.
To turn off the color, in Sheet Music Treble Clef and Bass Clef HN left click on the D music note, in Read Music Notes Sing’n Learn HN click anywhere on the music notes or press your Spacebar key.
