Prelude in B Minor by Alexander Siloti is an arrangement of Bach’s prelude in E-minor from The Well Tempered Clavier, first book. Alexander Ilyich Siloti was a Russian pianist, conductor and composer. He went to Weimar in 1881 to study with Franz Liszt. He was Rachmaninoff first cousin. His daughter, Kyriena Siloti, was also a noted pianist and teacher in New York and Boston until her death in 1989, aged 94.
